The Situational Writing Secondary Series aims to provide students with skills to excel and score well in situational writing with reference to the criteria for the latest 2023 GCE O-Level Examination format included.

Equipped with a comprehensive range of writing tasks, students are given the opprtunity to work on and enhance their understanding of different genres of writing:

Each book comes with an explainer on PACC (Purpose, Audience, Context and Culture), Task Amplification, Language Use and Paraphrasing and Formats (i.e. formal email – external and internal, article, report – external and internal) for easy reference.

For each writing task, pupils are taken through the writing process with the components such Task Stimulus, Task Analysis, Perfecting Skills and Techniques and Planning Your Response. Strategies presented cater to the requirements of each writing task.

Each component comes with model answers to guide pupils to include all salient points to score well for the Situational Writing component.
