PROGRAMME OUTLINE

This course aims to equip the participants with awareness of low attaining students in mathematics, their needs and concerns, comics, and the design principles for infusing comics into mathematics classroom instruction. We will learn about the principles to note when one infuses comics into mathematics classroom instruction.

This course introduces a new way to teach mathematics that is rarely explored and often without a systematic, theoretical underpinning. By participating, you will gain confidence in implementing this innovative teaching method, making it easier to approach mathematics education from a fresh perspective.
