PRODUCT INFORMATION

Emotional Quotient (EQ) is a person’s ability to recognise his/her own and other people’s emotions, thereby guiding thinking and behaviour. It is important to build EQ in children if they are to become self-aware, self-disciplined, motivated and empathetic adults with the social skills necessary for a successful life. 

Suitable for children aged 4 to 8, My EQ Readers series is divided into three themes: Positive Emotions, Negative Emotions and Responsibilities. Each theme is explored
over four books.

Children will be made aware of the different emotions they may have, and be guided on how to manage these emotions. The text is deliberately kept simple and appropriate for preschool children, and the illustrations are done in a variety of styles to stimulate interest.
